Ring Sizing Guide
How to find your ring size accurately at home — before ordering.
Method One
String Method
- 1.
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
- 2.
Mark where it overlaps with a pen.
- 3.
Lay the paper flat and measure the distance in millimetres.
- 4.
This is your circumference. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter.
- 5.
Find your diameter in the size chart below.
Method Two
Existing Ring Method
- 1.
Find a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you want to size.
- 2.
Place it flat on a ruler or piece of paper.
- 3.
Measure the inside diameter — from inner edge to inner edge.
- 4.
Find your measurement in the diameter column of the size chart.
- 5.
If between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Tips
Before You Order
Measure at the right time
Measure in the afternoon. Fingers swell through the day — a morning measurement may be half a size smaller.
Wider bands need larger sizes
Bands wider than 6mm fit tighter than narrow bands. Go up half a size for wide bands (8mm+).
Temperature matters
Cold fingers are smaller. Do not measure when cold. Aim for room temperature or slightly warm hands.
If between sizes
Always choose the larger size. It is easier to add a sizing ball to a slightly-too-large ring than to resize a too-small one.
